A while back I was contacted by a freelance writer to do an article about my dad. It’s finally out in the lastest issue (June) of Your Family magazine. Really proud of my dad.

I searched high and low for our wedding photographer and found Christene de Coning on a local wedding site after long, long hours spent pondering over real wedding photographs on various blogs. We booked her immediately and our wedding shoot includes an engagement photo session – something which I highly recommend for any couple getting married! Our day was set and planned weeks ahead, but naturally, living in Cape Town the weather can do anything 
Four seasons can happen in one day! Our afternoon sunset & beach setting turned into a howling wind & cloudy harbour event…but it turned out quite beautiful! The upside of having clouds is that you don’t have to squint and there is no horrible shadows anywhere.
Nevertheless…I love these pictures … and finally we have some great new family pictures for our home.
